Admission to the Colorado Bar
To become a fully-licensed Colorado attorney you must complete an application questionnaire, undergo a Character and Fitness investigation, have a recent MPRE score, and attend the Practicing with Professionalism Course. Application fees are non-refundable.
Temporary Limited Licenses & Certifications
Colorado permits temporary law practice through the following limited licenses and certifications issued by the Office of Attorney Registration. There is no MPRE requirement.
Attorney Admissions — Document Requests
Request documents from the Office of Attorney Admissions, including application certificates, duplicate bar result notices, UBE score verifications, MPRE score verifications, and MBE score reports.
Discipline History Letter
Request a copy of your discipline history from the Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel.
Office of Attorney Registration & CLE
Certificates of Good Standing and other license compliance certifications should be requested from the Office of Attorney Registration and CLE.
